Melissa Tahere

Melissa assists the team with research, communications and administration. She is completing her final year of a conjoint LLB and BCOM degree, majoring in Human Resource Management and Employment Relations.

Melissa is interested in the political and legal spheres, and in particular their implication on Māori. She currently serves on the Ngā Rangahautira (Māori Law Students Association at Victoria University of Wellington) executive as the Submissions Officer.

She has experience working in a large commercial law firm, as well as in an industry body in the electricity sector.
